History

2012-13: Had 3 goals and 31 assists in 37 games for South Shore Kings in the EJHL. His 34 points was most among defenders on his team and was second-most for defenders in all of the EJHL. In 6 playoff games, Marino had 3 assists.

2013-14: Marino split the season with South Shore U18 and South Shore Premier. In 12 U18 games, he tallied 1 goal and 4 assists. Marino scored 6 goals and collected 11 assists for 17 points in 34 games for Kings Premier. In 5 playoff games, he had 2 assists.

Talent Analysis

Marino makes smart plays and is very physical for such a young player. He has a strong shot from the point and is deadly on the power-play. The rearguard has size but needs to be stronger in order to play at the next level. (USPHL Prospects, March 2014)

Future

Marino will play for the South Shore Kings Premier team in 2014-15 and is scheduled to attend Yale University in 2016. Marino was also drafted in the USHL (Chicago) and the QMJHL (Halifax).
