2011-12: Skated in 39 games for Maksymum Jr. Hockey in the EmJHL. He had 19 goals with 31 assists for 50 points, which was tie for second-most on the team. He only picked up 2 penalty minutes in the entire season.2012-13: Appeared in 30 games for the Rochester Stars EJHL team. He netted 14 goals and registered 24 points while recording as many penalty minutes. Keenan played in all 5 playoff games for Rochester and had 1 goal and 1 assist.
2013-14: Keenan had a breakout year with the Rochester Jr. Americans Elite team. The forward potted a team-high 25 goals and picked up 36 helpers for 61 points. He lead the team in goals, assists and points. Kennan also managed 28 penalty minutes during the campaign. In 5 playoff games, the '95 potted 2 goals and collected 2 assists as the Jr. Americans were knocked out in the second-round by the New Jersey Hitmen.
