History

2011-12: Suited up in 40 games for the South Shore Kings Empire team where he scored 4 goals and had 28 assists for 32 points. Paolo also picked up 79 penalty-minutes.

2012-13: Joined the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights of the AJHL. Paolo had 1 goal and 15 assists in 43 regular-season games while registering 20 penalty-minutes. En route to an AJHL Championship, Paolo lead all defenseman in points in the post-season. In 6 games, he scored 1 goal and collected 7 assists.

2013-14: Started the season on the Portland Jr. Pirates' Premier team and in 17 games scored 2 goals while picking up 9 assists. He also managed 20 penalty-minutes. Paolo was traded to the South Shore Kings Premier team mid-season and appeared in 18 games while recording 16 penalty-minutes. South Shore finished the season as the third seed with a 31-13-4 record but were knocked out in the semi-finals by the New Jersey Hitmen. In 5 playoff games, Paolo scored 1 goal and accumulated 12 penalty-minutes.

Talent Analysis

Paolo is an extremely smart defenseman. Although he is undersized, he makes up for it in his physicality and speed. He's a lethal threat on the power-play and very strong defensively for an offensive defenseman. (Hockey Scouting News, June 2014)

Paoli will play for South Shore Kings Premier in 2014-15. Paolo is uncommitted. He was drafted in 2013 by the Shawinigan Cataractes of the QMJHL.
